STANDARDSEvery programming organization should have standards. Some of these will be industry wide, others will relate only to the organization.
MMCC personnell have been programming PL/B (formerly Databus) for 30 years. Over that period we have developed a number of internal standards which have served us well.
If we were to start over, some of these procedures and standards would be changed. But they've been in place for many years and have served us well. The standards are enhanced over time, but old code is never broken.
This document is intended to describe the standards for our own staff, but others viewing this page may find the information useful.
