STANDARDS
rev 9/02/2016
Every programming organization should have standards.
Some of these will be industry wide, others will relate only to the organization.
MMCC personnell have been programming PL/B (formerly Databus) since the early 1970's.
Over that period we have developed a number of internal standards which have served us well.
If we were to start over, some of these procedures and standards would be changed.
But the ones we use have been in place for many years and have served us well.
The standards continue to be enhanced over time, but old code is never broken.
These documents are intended to describe our standards for our own staff.
But other PL/B programmers may view these pages and find the information useful.
If anyone finds themselves picking up the torch after us,
they will find this information invaluable.
